And here she comes -- Always one to make a brilliant first impression. I didn't think I would, but I'm finding I really like writing the dialogue for this comic. Ruby's an oddball, and kinda reminds me of Knuckles back in Sonic #13. This was the first issue of the Sonic comic I ever bought, and lo, I was hooked since. These days tho, I have more fun making my own comics. 
EDIT: Added a little bit more brightness around the image to show it's not quiiite dark out yet. Hard thing to do considering the dark forest seems to be the backdrop for most of this page. But I assure you, it's getting dark out, LOL Also, the top panel's text layout was bugging the hell out of me, so I fixed that too.

Uh.... I'm really confused about the panel order on this page. Do we read the left half first, then the right half? Are the panels in two stacked groups? Or does the reading zigzag across the page? This page layout feels poorly conceived.
