Our company is going through a rebranding, and for a few weeks now, our CD and I have been working on our new mascot (when I've not been trying to make myself pass out by banging my head in a car door after over 9000 hours of coding).
So here's Addie the Owl... and a simultaneous peek into my corporate life. Some select thumbnail sketches from our development process here: [link] [link] [link] [link] Alot of fun on this one. And you know me, I rarely use the word fun when I describe my career, much as I generally enjoy it. |

I love seeing development sketches too, it shows the birth of a character and how many changes and designs the little fellow went through to get to this stage, all the different markings and feathers and eyebrows and the like.
I concur with =SaturnGrl - definitely want a plushie of this little guy

What I think, I create.
What I create, I draw.
What I draw, I love.
What I love, is everything to me.
I prefer creativity, originality, dynamics and sassiness over cut and paste and paintfill and trace.
I learn from honest critique. Do you?
